Mundanity means both the quality of being ordinary and the quality of being worldly through cultivation, experience or disillusionment. I am both common and learned.
I have my MBA and my BA in Liberal Arts. I work from home for the marketing department of a large IT company. I am a project manager for marketing technology initiatives.
I am a member of the Society for Creative Anachronism, and am an authorized combat archer within the organization. Mostly, I go camping in the woods in funny clothes.
I am an avid traveler. I am at a place in my life that I can plan and commit to one big trip (hopefully international) every year. I have visited Mexico, Brazil, England, Ireland, Rome, Athens, India, quite a few Caribbean islands, and more than half of the US states.
I am a planner. In 2016, I visited Ireland with my partner, which you can read about beginning here.
I have semi-solid plans for a Nordic cruise in 2017 and loose plans for Istanbul in 2018. (Well those plans got changed due to life.) I have solid plans to go back to India at the end of 2018 (this time with B!) and have a deposit on a Caribbean cruise with friends for the summer of 2019.
At the same time, I enjoy canning pickles and jams, playing board games and watching TV. My partner and I want to raise chickens and be goat adjacent (I want to be able to buy goat milk from friends, but not raise them).
